Contexte
En novembre 2015, le collectif «Rovéréaz – Ferme agroécologique» a remporté l’appel à projet lancé par la Ville de Lausanne pour la reprise de l’exploitation du domaine de Rovéréaz axé sur une agriculture maraîchère biologique de proximité. Le projet s’articule autour de quatre piliers : agricole, pédagogique, social et économique.
Actuellement, 4 structures sont actives sur le domaine de Rovéréaz :
- La Sàrl Ferme de Rovéréaz qui exploite les 28.5 hectares de terres en agriculture biologique et vend ses produits au marché à la ferme.
- L’Association Rovéréaz qui coordonne le volet socio-pédagogique et l’accueil du public dans le Jardin aux 1000 Mains.
- La Coopérative L’autre temps qui organise des mesures d’insertion pour des personnes à l’écart du marché du travail.
- L’Association Les Chênes qui gère le patrimoine bâti du domaine.
